A fun film full of twists and turns!
"Companion" is a film that's been under my radar for a while now and after a very short theatrical release, I finally had the chance of catching this at home. Well, is it any good? "Companion" follows a subservient android that's built for human companionship and goes haywire on a weekend getaway.

Many films such as "Ex Machina" and "M3gan" have had their own take on robots and AI, but "Companion" spiced up the formula and delivered a very fun time! What makes this film so fun and great are those damn twists and turns. This film is stacked with them, and without them, the story loses its value. On that thought, I do NOT recommend anyone watching the trailer for this film as it spoils some of those fun events, and even if you did watch it, I'm sure you will enjoy how the story unfolds. The best way to describe this film is a mix of "M3gan" and "Terminator 2". It's fun, it's funny, and it's bloody as hell!

Furthermore, I must praise the performances here. Sophie Thatcher, aka my wife, delivered a fantastic performance here. The way she shifts emotions here is great and her chemistry with Quaid was also great! Praise should also go towards Jack Quaid who also delivered a superb performance. They both did an incredible job here and held the film together. I don't have much to say about this film other than if you're looking for a fun film full of twist, then look no further!
