The best TV show of the year!
Ever since the trailer dropped for "The Studio", I knew that this show was going to be something special, and I was right! Simply put, this was one of the best TV shows ever crafted. "The Studio" follows Matt Remick, who is the newly appointed head of Continental Studios. Desperate for celebrity approval, he and his executive team at the movie studio must juggle corporate demands with creative ambitions as they try to keep movies alive and relevant.

I'm keeping this review short and sweet. What makes this show so damn good is, well, everything! Words cannot describe how amazing this show is until you watch it! I really enjoyed the stories told here. Rogen brings his A-game here and delivers some pretty funny and self-aware episodes that also serve as a commentary on the state of the industry. And while they're pretty exaggerated at times, this exaggeration is what makes them all the more comedic! All of the episodes were phenomenal except episode 5. It felt a bit weird and out of place in my opinion, and just a bit useless in what is an overall great show. This show has A LOT of celebrities crammed in here, and I mean A LOT. Without spoiling any surprises, they were all perfect in their role, and it was a dream come true seeing all those great actors interact with each other on screen.

Furthermore, Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, Zoe Kravitz, Bryan Cranston, and Catherine O'Hara did a phenomenal job throughout the season. But who surprised the most was none other than Seth freaking Rogen! I personally think this is Rogen's best performance to date. The way he portrayed his character was just perfect and put a big smile on my face. Last but not least, I just praise the score by Antonio Sánchez. His score was simply a blessing to my ears and to the show! It's one of my favorite scores, and it made me look forward to hearing more from him. Finally, I must praise the cinematography here by Adam Newport-Berra. Oners are not an easy task, and Berra doesn't hold back here and delivers some flawless and mind-blowing camera movement. I can keep talking and talking about this show but all I can say is to go and watch it right now!
